The Truth About It All: A Piece of Italy In The Heart of Houston

Just the other day I found myself super hungry and wanting something healthy. Then I remembered I previously passed by this little place called Cafe Dolce Gelato an Italian ice cream/sandwhich place. I got curious and instead of opting for chick fil a I went there instead. After a few minutes of eyeing the menu which is filled with great variety,I decided to get their house salad. A salad so simple, but oh soo delicious. The salad had baby spinach, romaine lettuce, roma tomatoes, pesto cheese, black olives, red onion, and an Italian olive oil dressing they make right there. And to compliment the food an rasberry italian soda. Today during lunch rush, after being pleasantly pleased with how good the salad was the first time, I decided to return for more. I had in mind getting the same salad but after looking at the menu once more I decided to opt for their Salami Pesto Crepe not knowing what a treat I was in for. As I walked up to the counter to place my order in the crowded space between the tables I was cordially greeted this time by the owner Josh Collier. He was very kind and friendly. It was right there clear that he is dedicated to his business and likes to see that everything is going correctly, he was so kind as to go around to the tables asking everyone how the food was and if they needed anything. From a distance I watched him make the crepe and before I knew it he brought it to my table at a glance the crepe looked simple, but in a mysterious way. Around the crepe placed were  a few grapes, blueberries and a single perfectly looking strawberry. This is a place that I will definitely go to soon once again. Needless to say the crepe was delicious ! :) If you guys are inside the Galleria go into Cafe Dolce Gelato, you wont disappointed. xx -Steph

The Truth About It All: Pensacola Postcards

I recently took a mini vacation with my family. I'd call it an planned but at the same time unplanned vacation ,because last minute the place we were going changed. We were originally supposed to go to LA but then there was a change of plans, so we ended up going to the little piece of heaven in Florida known as Pensacola. I thought, 'ok we have been to Florida too many times.' So originally i wasn't thrilled with the idea since i'd much rather go to LA. But when we got there i was instantly captivated by the beautiful blue ocean that layed ahead of us in every direction. The people who were there that were not only from Pensacola but there was soo many other people, who were visiting out of state and even out of the country. The food was truly amazing, I don't particularly like seafood but the was this restaurant called Crabs which had the most delicious blue crab cream soup i have ever tasted and the tastiest grilled shrimp I've had in years. Needless to say i was quite satisfied with this little four day vacation and definitely plan on going back soon. Pensacola is now one of my favorite places to visit. What do you guys think? The Truth About It All: Cropped Top And Fun Print pants

With Summer here I am constantly inspired to keep my looks updated, the winter was long and I was more than just ready for it to end. This look was inspired a friend of mine who loves harem pants and crop tops. I thought it would be an easy going outfit to put together for a night out or even during the day if its not too hot outside. I love the top because of the statement gold bold letters, you guys have seen me pair this top with other things before and i just love it because its risk taking pairing it with other things but it doesnt cease to look good. The pants are so comfortable yet chic, you can wear the up high on the waist or a little lower (it all depends on the top) I love the pants because you dont have to wear them with heels you can wear them with oxfords too and with ankle boots. What do you guys think of this ensemble? YAY or NAY ? -Steph

The Truth About It All: Flirty Skirt and Flower Prints

 I love it that finally, i get to wear spring clothes. It was cold for a bit even though it should have gotten warm out much sooner than it did, it finally did and now I'm more than thrilled to wear all my spring pieces. This outfit was inspired by nature I enjoy flowers and so I found this very lovely top a month ago when i went shopping and totally fell in love with it at first glance, the skirt is totally always and forever to be worn with multiple pieces it can be worn with sweaters when the weather begins to get cool again along with other things. Lets not forget the barely there sandals which have been trending for awhile now (a few seasons actually) and that i totally love. All these pieces combined create a killer yet simple lovely look for day or night. What do you guys think ? Yay Or Nay ? xx -Steph

This season I am really loving the take there has been with the color white, and all the different designs, prints and types of fabric that are used to create these beauties. The designs range from a subtle spring dress, to one that can transition from day to night (aka all day dress) , there are tops and skirts that are designed so well to the point that can be paired together and appear to be a dress or like they don't belong with any other pieces. I love the very first design by Elizabeth & James its very chic easy going and can transition from day to night, this little piece can be worn for lunch, an office meeting, dinner, to that very metropolitan style new lounge down the street everyone has been gushing  about, etc.  The second design by Maz Azria is a blouse and pelplum  style skirt, i like this design because the back of the top is like an upside down v neck, or just a triangle rise it is simple and easy going that can be worn during day or night but not to just anywhere. The Marc Jacobs dress with black and white stripes is very subtle perfect for the day time, and it looks great with combat boots and an over the shoulder bag. The Robert Rodriguez dress which is last but not least to be commented upon this post is actually one of my favorites, i love this piece because its simple yet calls for attention the white isn't bright white its a little darker close to a yellowish white color. It flows at the bottom and is just the right length. 

The Truth About It All: Flower Prints and Crop Tops

Its spring and I couldn't be happier in life and that its spring of course!  I was rummaging through my clothes packed closet and some new spring pieces that arrived at my doorstep the other day and I hadn't taken a second look at because I've been super busy the last few days. Then something happened and in just started opening package after package to find a few spring, and flower printed attire. So I decided to throw an outfit together, that includes two of my fav things for this spring flower printed things & crop tops. I love this outfit because its so easy going the skirt is quite simple, it has the perfect length and the print isnt too plain or too colorful.  The top is very different from any other crop top in my closet because of the way its this asymmetric top is somthing that caught my eye because I like things that are made that way. I'm also wearing one of my fav shoes the bearly there sandals which can be paired with anything.
