The Truth About It All: BCBGMaxAzria S/S15

(Florals)
I am in love with the new BCBG collection never has anything been so classic/boho/silky/chic and timeless. Wow so many things at once I am truly obsessed with this collection for spring. Its such a mix of different styles, its so difficult not to love it. No wonder everyone has been gushing about it since it was unveiled at NYFW S/S15 earlier this week. The fabrics used in each piece are so light weight  that when you walk it just flows with every move you make. The entire collection made me love BCBG even more than I already do. Its bold yet classic, there was a floral feel to many of the outfits because of the fabric used and I absolutely loved the designs that featured nude colored fabric because nude colored things can be worn with literally anything. This collection was not only modern and chic it is timeless. What do you guys think of the new BCBG collection ? Yay or Nay ? I say definitely YAY ! I would buy the whole collection if i could. xx -Steph

The Truth About It All: Kate Spade vs Chanel Take Me Out

VS

OH MY HOLY PURSE ! What is going on with this ? Am I seeing double, somebody get me some glasses please. 2010 versus 2014, I recall that in 2010 Chanel designed a purse that was shaped like a Chinese take out box. It was quirky and fun but it stuck to the of course classic black and white of the brand. Fast forward a few years  and now we have a take out bag designed by Kate Spade, I must say that a lot of people didn't really favor the bags because of their sizes but sometimes a small bag is good to have and why not have a fun small bag. I am in love with the take out bag both brands created but mainly with the one made by Kate Spade because you can carry it more than one way, with the shoulder strap and with the small handle that you can hold in your hand. And its oh so colorful inside and out, the inside is lined with blue fabric that have little fortunes written on it. What do you guys think? Would you buy a take out bag from either brand or would you rather just stick with a normal bag ? Yay or Nay for take out bags? xx -Steph

The Truth About It All: For The Bride

Being a bride can get difficult I assume with all the planning , the guest list, seating arrangements, the theme color, the flowers, the vow writing, etc. The list could go on for ages, but when I saw these gorgeous Chanel sandals on Pinterest, I could not help but want to share a little bridal inspiration and style with any future brides out there. Everyone is obsessed with bridal couture, but lets be honest here its oh so complicated to chose wedding gowns with all the styles, textures, fabric, and now colors YES COLORS. Brides are not only wearing white now. Now they wear pink, mint green, a very light sky blue, red, and if you are on of those brides who wants to stand out forevermore from the traditional white there are also black wedding gowns. Vera Wang being one of the first designers I saw making black wedding gowns, I personally would not opt for that color considering the fact that i think it takes away from such as special occasion. The color makes it look like you are going to a black tie event instead of a wedding it makes the gown look like just any regular evening gown. I love them but would not wear them. I love Vera and the way she always perfectly captures the style of almost if not every bride out there. Her spring 2015 collection is breathtaking, it captivated me from the moment I saw it, as did the Oscar De La Renta 2015 collection. Both designers manage to keep a vintage look to all of the pieces in their collections, but still giving it a modern look which is exactly my style. Now lets talk about the shoes. The Shoes I believe are the most important thing Riiight after the dress. I am personally obsessed with the Chanel shoes at the very top. These classic Coco Chanel strappy sandals are truly breathtaking , I love the simplicity they have it makes them easy to wear for any special occasion. Of course I had to include the famous Manolos Carrie wore in Sex in the City to marry 'Mr.Big', as soon as the shoes were seen in the movie everyone fell in love with the gorgeous pumps. So much in fact that brides everywhere were wanting to buy them so Blahnik  raised the prices from a good $525 to a hefty $965 making an iconic shoe and almost unreachable. And of course I could not forget to put the very beautiful swan shoes that were made just for Bella in Twilights Breaking Dawn movie. What do you lovely ladies and future brides think? xx -Steph

The Truth About It All: The Sheer Linings

Sheer things are all the rage at the moment, From models, actresses and fellow fashion bloggers everyone is working the trend into their wardrobe. I love how these ladies all added their own style to this current trend. Remember when showing skin caused controversy, well not anymore since there are many ways to show skin without it going overboard. I personally love Nicole Richies sheer mint top paired with the white trousers, it is conservative yet chic, Jessica Hart is totally rocking that sheer dress with black under garments and black pigalle pumps. The way Selena Gomez paired her sheer top and skirt with her heels was lovely , it is more risk than we're used to her taking but the actress looks lovely as always. In general all the ladies Rosie, Chiara, Mira Duma, etc. Are rocking the trend in these pictures. What do you guys think about the sheer trend ? YAY or NAY? xx- Steph

The Truth About It All: Peter Lik Art Gallery

Lik Gallery is. ... truly captivating. Just this past Saturday I was out for a stroll around town and happened to run into something quite unexpected. The Peter Lik Gallery is truly something I never thought  I'd run into, his landscape photography is truly breathtaking ranging from waterfalls, to the sun setting behind a tree somewhere in Africa. His work truly captures all the beauty nature has to give through the lens of the camera.  My first impression when walking into the gallery is something I'm not quite sure how to describe, I recall saying "This seems interesting, I haven't been inside a gallery in a while." After taking the first step inside the gallery I began to wander around to see what i would run into, after seeing the first three photos I continued to explore the gallery which is carefully arranged by first water shots, then sunset/sundown, followed by a few buildings here and there, and a historic shot that was so amazing it seemed like you were standing there (seen below). All of the photographs featured below some from the 2014 collection of photographs that are now being featured in each of his galleries, along with some other photographs from previous years, are all truly remarkable. I am now a fan of Peter Liks work. If you like photography and art going to a Peter Lik art gallery is totally worth the time.

The Truth About It All: Mara Hoffman Resort 2015

Mara Hoffman recently revealed her swim 2015 collection at Miami Fashion Week. And it is needless to say that as always she wooed each and everyone of us. The designer stuck to her loyal kaleidoscope print that makes you dizzy if you stare too long. The lovely collection which features the loyal kaleidoscope print, tribal prints, parrots, sheer tops, and fringe is truly eye catching. Each piece has would have its own voice if fabric were to speak, my favorites would have to be the first three. In the first three pieces the trends are represented in more than one way. Starting with the always appealing two piece swim suit, which this time around features kaleidoscope patterns along with tribal. The very next one features the classic high waist swim suit with sheer attributes that compliment the swimsuit as a whole. I love how on my third favorite she mixes a tie dye feel, with tribal colors, giving the vintage one piece a different and more colorful approach.
The way she mixed rain forest colors with trending pieces and even pieces that have already been around makes the collection irresistible. What do you guys think of the collection? Will you be seen wearing any of these gorgeous pieces next summer ? YAY or NAY? xx -Steph

The Truth About It All: Style On A Rainy Summer Day

There are times when i like to keep things simple and love opting for a simple look that speaks for itself rather than raiding the entire closet in search for that perfect outfit the screams 'HERE I AM!'. Simplicity goes a long way, it always has and it brings great comfort. It was raining this morning so I wasn't sure if I wanted to do an outfit post, but then I decided it'd be perfect to shoot because after the rain comes the sun and everything outside recovers an extraordinary amount of color. I love this outfit, It literally took me five minutes to put this together. I love that its simple, yet chic and looks to a great extent the way i wanted it  to look. But sstill manages to be a fun look. What do guys think of the outfit YAY or NAY ? xx -Steph
