West Texas Road Trip: Big Bend & Marfa

West Texas is full of long stretches of road surrounded by rocky mountains. At sunrise the sun lights up the horizon, with the brightest hues of orange and sometimes purple. With every mile you drive the road takes you further away from home, but closer to wonder and excitement of the unknown. The star kissed sky in Big Bend is breathtaking.

And I being the huge skirt fan that I have become went on the hunt for a good spring skirt. This skirt did not look like this when it first caught my eye at a vintage shop months ago along with a Ralph Lauren one I scored for a good price. Since I personally did't not like the fact that it was too long and I stepped on it (sorry I'm short).

This weekend was a good one it took off very slowly. On Saturday I started my day with a light protein filled breakfast followed by almost two hrs. in the gym which were a great energy boost believe it or not. On Sunday I spent the day with my family cooking and laughing it was the right way to end the weekend after a stressful week. Then came when I realized I had yet to really look through my Influenster box to really see what was in it.
